19 year old stepdaughter, Chloe Rose, has a big problem: her stepfather Ryan McLane is one big pain in the neck, way more than protective in monitoring her every move.

She’s finishing a phone call with her boyfriend when Ryan arrives home from work, and demands to know who she was speaking to. She lies and says it was a girlfriend, but he forces her to give him her phone and he figures out from the number that she was talking to his best friend Harry! Ryan grills her and berates her mercilessly, finally forcing Chloe to call Harry back and break up with him.

Later that night, stepdad comes to her bedroom and finds Chloe in her pyjamas, clutching a plush toy for comfort. He explains how he’s just looking out for his family and that he’s proud that she did the right thing, calling it quits with an older man, Harry. She pledges to be a good girl, and all’s well between them.
